We name the real fabric on every piece

Real leather is heavy, needs conditioning and careful storage, and is often cut to order. Every piece here is a matte grained fabric with the structure and none of the upkeep. We would rather say that than let you find out.

The grain sits on a fabric with give, so it holds a line without holding you still. Between sizes, take the larger one: structure reads better when it is not straining.

Real leather is stiff everywhere. This is panelled, so the corsetry holds and the rest moves. That is the difference you feel after two hours, not two minutes.

The honest answers

Is this real leather?

No, and we would rather say so. Every piece is a matte grained fabric with the same structure. Real leather is heavy, needs conditioning, and does not go in a wash.

What size should I order?

Your usual size. The collection is cut true to size and the fabric gives. Between sizes, take the larger one.

Does it need conditioning?

No. No conditioner, no protector, no careful storage. Hang it up and forget it.

How do I wash it?

Delicate cycle, cold, ideally in a laundry bag, then hang to dry.

Will it crack or peel?

The grain is worked into the fabric rather than pressed onto it, so it does not lift the way a coated finish can.

Is it hot to wear?

Far less than real leather, which does not breathe. It is a fabric underneath, so an evening in it stays comfortable.
